08-10 frame rail width

I am looking at 08-10 F250's and 350's that are wrecked for a set of axles to put under an 01 F250. I am wondering if the frame rail widths are the same. I have been told that the 6.4 was wider and Ford had to widen the rails but would like some owner measuring if that is possible. If I could get the measurements from inside to inside and outside to outside that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Front axle has coil springs on an 08, will have leaf springs on your 01 so that swap might be a lot of work.

Also the wheel offset will be different. If it were me, I'd search for axles out of anything up to 04 that still had leaf springs on the front. Hope this helps!

My brother converted his 99 f450 to 4x4 and used a 06 f250 front end. The coil spring buckets bolted up, just had to drill a few more holes. But not a 100% on if the 08s are the same but the 05-07s will bolt in easily.
