Adding Steering wheel controls to a 07

I just picked up an 07 F550 and it is everything iwant except it does not have the radio controls on the steering wheel, Has anyone ever added the audio and heat controls to a truck?

aftermarket radio. I know i need an interface for it but im wandering if the wiring is thier

Look for the PAC interface for your head unit if you have the steering wheel controls in place. If you don't it's gonna be much harder. My wheel came out of a truck with those controls but originally I didn't have them...the wiring isn't even close to the same. I had to rewire it just for horn function.

So you put a volume control horn in your truck? i was looking and if an 08 wheel would work it would be easier because it doesnt have the heater controls on it

I've been wanting to add a new wheel and controls to my 04 but didn't really know how much Id be getting into since I know auto hvac swap is pretty intense
