Intercooler question?

Long story short Dad has been looking for a 6.4 and has found one he really likes. Only problem is that it seems to leak oil around the seam between the plastic and aluminum on the intercooler. Does anybody know what could cause this? This is the only thing that's holding him back from buying it. TIA

Oil is from the ccv ford uses. But that ic should prob be replaced. If its leaking oil its also losing boost.
