Hi guys just wondering what normal towing EGT's are for these 6.4L? I have my truck dpf deleted with a 4" straightpipe downpipe back along with a mini max tuner. I tow on the no power setting but the EGT's seem high to me towing my 8000lbs travel trailer, 880*-980* on flat ground at 70mph with cruise set and climbed to 1200* and sometimes 1350* on some hills and ran constant at 1050* with a 30mph wind on flat ground and at 70mph cruise set. EOT ran at 203* and ECT at 195*. Just wondering if this is normal or what? Any feedback would be greatfully appreciated!!! Would hate to see what it will be like in the mountains.

I usually tow on the 210 from Spartan, typically in the 15-20k gross range, I typically see around 900-1000 on level ground and it'll go up to around 1150-1200 hitting hills. Usually have to be in it pretty good to see over 1200 but I've never really seen more than 1250 on that tune and I grossed 28k once last year. Boost is usually a constant 20-30 going to 40 or so on hills. Mine usually sits between 200-205 on coolant and eot and their usually within 2-3* of each other.

My gcvw is around 30000. I found on the 150 setting kept my egts lower on flats and rolling hills. 900-1100. When I start the big hills I've just kicked it down to 80 or stock cuz I'm going to max out regaurdless. I've also learned 1250 is about max on the long hills.

It does. But it will max your egts out faster on the big hills. The gears help as well. The bigger turbos are the biggest help.
