So decided yesterday to finally tackle installing this turbo and mount set up from Jake at Irate. I will have more pictures tonight but lets start off with a couple from yesterday.

Here the engine is all torn down. Spider, intake, CAC tubes, Turbo, uppipes, downpipe and plenums all removed.

How was it removing the intake plenums? I have set of WOP plenums sitting on my workbench that need to be installed still.

Ken,

Id be happy around 500. My idea was to have a set up that was capable of more than my goal simply so that I am not running anything at its full capability. I've always been taught that things last a lot longer when being run at a fraction of their potential than at the most that they can go.

They are from Irate. The S468 would not fit with the stock plenums.

I will be updating this thread as soon as I finish with the install, running into issues with a siezed up fitting and some issues getting the oil return lined up and attached. Other than that its been a easy install with great fit

Plenums were a breeze. Pull the bolts then take a razor blade and cut along the top edge sliding it under to break the seal with the RTV. Then put a mine crow bar or screw driver under the plenum and pry up, they will pop off.

I spent a lot of time cleaning up the valley and the area around the plenums also, part of why the install is taking as much time as it is.

With a true 250/200's you should be @ 600. If this turbo does as BW claims.

Like I said, yes I should be around 600 assuming they get all the fuel they need and they have adequate pressure along with the tuning. Which is right where I wanted it.

The injectors are from FFD so I would assume that they will hold true to what they are supposed to be.

Alright guys, this isnt a bash fest. Take it somewhere else. As far as plenum design there arent many ways to reinvent the wheel. These were (from my understanding) one off pieces jake made in order for the turbo to fit. These were made post purchase as they were necessary to fit the turbo. If you have any issues, take it up somewhere outside of this thread.

I cant wait to see how it turns out. This is about the exact set up I have been thinking I want to run.

I can tell you for sure to set aside a few days. Once I get the pics up you'll see how tight the fit is for the turbo. Also make sure you can find a 5"-4" boot adapter for the intake side of the turbo.

Final pics and full write up should be coming this afternoon or first thing tomorrow.
