AS WE PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED LAST WEEK...

We are pleased to offer a large variety of custom tunes to our 7.3L PSD customers. While our SmokeShow™ tune is quite popular, we have struggled with the decision whether to offer it or not as an option for several reason:

• Three members of our immediate family (Corey and our sons) have asthma and it's rather hypocritical to offer a tune that would ultimately be bad for their health.
• It presents a bad image for the diesel truck community.
• It is dangerous. I've been behind trucks that have smoked out an intersection and haven't been able to see the road in front of me. Not safe, for sure.
• It is really a waste of fuel and money.
• We pride ourselves on creating custom tunes that produce little or no smoke; this is, of course, better for fuel economy as well as the environment.

After much discussion, we have decided to discontinue our SmokeShow™ tune for the 7.3L PSD. While this may affect our sales, we believe that this is the environmentally responsible decision for our company. For customers that already have it we will still support it, but we will no longer offer it for new orders.

We appreciate you understanding and respecting our position.

Good call. It is worth the cut in sales to not have so many people hating diesels.

Your decision to drop a tune based on a family members health, as well as other peoples health, coupled with your concern for our environment, and our wallets, shows that you are one of the BEST companies in business today!

You've just prevented (or at least reduced) the opportunity for untold numbers of flat bill d-bags to prove how useless they really are with another stop light smoke out. That's progress!
