Door handle keeps shocking me

Anyone else's inside door handle shock them when they get out. Gets me every time! My 09 did the same thing. :bs:

No it has leather. Its really not a big deal, but since my 09 did it also I thought maybe a bad ground or cut wire to the window controls could cause it.

Mine would shock the sh!t out you. Now that I have seat covers it stoped. But I would allways grab the latch thing that the door closes on so it wouldnt shock me.

My 08 does the same thing...

Every Ford truck I've owned has done this, in the winter time. It goes away when the air isn't so dry.

Static electricity. Theres no getting around it.

My office chair does it every time i get up LOL

A while back I saw someone on an F150 forum complaining about this and he found this static strap as a fix. From what I remember you hang it somewhere off the underside of your truck and it supposedly dissipates the static electricity. I guess it's worth a shot for the price.
