Yes the stuff works good but it took me two full kits and I still haven't got the entire cab done (I can't imagine how expensive it would be to do an excursion!) If you tow and have aftermarket exhaust (or stack like I do) I would highly recommend doing this!

I've shopped around and for the average cost of 90 bucks for the 2 of them it's alot easier and prob. cheaper to buy them and install them.

I already have the whole cab done with deadener I just don't know if these can improve the sound reduction.

I'm sure they help a bit. there is airspace where the sterring column etc goes through the firewall that these would help reduce

I have thought about putting the drivers side in for years just didnt want to take the time to modify it to fit a manual truck. I did put the passenger side in, but never did a comparison on how much it helped. IIRC all SDs from 02 up DID get the passenger side, but drivers side is ex only.
