normal driving, no grade, no wind, 65mph with the cruise on and the boost goes from 0-10(+\-) every few seconds, it does it for a few miles then it stops, but doesnt do it everyday no whinnin or anythin, fords lookin at it friday afternoon

i dont know, why would gas fumes cause it? there was plenty of diesel in there, thinkin the wastegate is throwin a fit

Mine was surging to in a higher gear and my dealer figured out it was the wastegate on the egr that was sticking open.
