We only put 5/40 full synthetic at work because thats what they call for but i dont really see the need other than mpg.

cool thanks, didnt think it would matter but iv been seeing/hearing guys using 5/40 so i didnt know if the weight would be an issue, we all know how temper mental these damn things get

The manual has a chart showing what weight oil's you can use depending on the operating conditions of your engine.

I ran full syn 15/40 my first oil change because its what I had laying around with no problem. I plan to switch to 5/40 full syn next change since its whats recommended.
