Does anyone know about an average of what it would cost to have just a stock 97 e40d 4wd transmission rebuilt? I can feel it starting to go, my trucks still stock and I'm on a shoe string budget so a stock rebuild just what I need until I'm out of college. Thanks.

I got a remaned jasper trans installed into my truck for just under $2000 and that included the tow bill. They sold me the trans for $1000 even.

Those numbers matched what I would have posted as well. I think there was a BTS posted on here for sale.
