VSS for 6.7 swap?

There is no VSS input on the 6.7 2100 ECU. It appears to be on the bus. Does anyone know if the VSS is required for the 6.7 to get full rpm?

The 5.9's seem to need the VSS for full power, but they have an input for it. Can the VSS be eliminated with a recovery file? Is it even needed?

My research indicates that the VSS is not needed on the 6.7 ECU to run properly. I guess I'll find out for sure when I try to run it.
