Need Some Assistance in North Houston

I'm trying to buy my son a '96 F250 in north Houston and the owners say it needs a new PCM. Is there anyone in the area with a quality scantool that would be willing to help out a young man trying to get his first diesel? I'm in central Georgia right now and can't get the time off to do it myself.
