Tom, I also have where I can move my tie rod up and down and believe its causing some play. Also causes my steering wheel to be in a slightly different "center" position going around curves. I found what might be a fix for it in post 3 here on the diesel stop by "clocking" the tie rod ends. Do you think doing that will fix it?

Also, what steering dampener do you plan on going with?

I extended the longer rear sway bar links just a bit more 5/8" to more closely match the OEM layout.





I also think this should allow a little more drop before the sway bar contacts the spring and add just a smidge of sway bar to trackbar clearance.

I did go ahead and install a steering stabilizer.



Moog SSD113 Steering Damper that I got from Amazon. I did paint it black to better blend in. I have not decided on the boot yet.d

No boot all they do is hold moisture and dirt.
