I'm having issues with the batt light being on continuosuly, I had the batts and alternator fail on me within a week so I replaced both, along with the fender mounted solenoid. I'm out of ideas and need this truck running again by the weekend.

Check yer connections at the alternator and the wires from there to the batteries. Get a volt meter and test the alternators output. Possible you got a bad alternator

I don't have an obs so I don't know how differant the systems are but I had the same problem. Disconnected the gpr and relay on passenger fender hooked it back up and its fine now. I think I originally had the cable to the gpr on the wrong post on the fender relay.

The battery light is fussy with that one wire connector on the top of the alternator.
