Hey Guys,

Just did an R&R on sig ride oil cooler and in my service manual (CD) instructs to tighten the front bolts, cooler to block to 24 lbs ft of torque and on the rear only 14 lbs ft for the 3 cooler to block bolts?? Could this be a typo error for the rear bolts? Does not seem to be leaking, just seems odd as they are threaded into steel block (compared to front aluminum cover) and most the weight (oil filter and head) is at the back of the assembly.... 14 just seems so light...and runnin a bigger filter worried that it might vibrate loose... Filter is the Fleet Guard LF 9691 and is large compared to stock.

any insight would be great TIA,

My 97 paper manual has the same info. I just put up some 2000 torque specs in the library if that might help.

Hey Tom, checked out the Torque specs up in the library here, for 2000 SD and table says 18 lbs ft interesting, so might do the rears up to 18 from obs manual saying 14...

Thanks again Tom.
