1st Annual Christmas for the Troops Drive

Maryland Performance Diesel is proud to announce the launch of its 1st Annual Christmas for the Troops Drive. We will be sending Christmas Packages to the men and women who are overseas fighting for our freedom. We have set a goal of sending 150 packages this year. From now until November 26 we will be accepting donations of the following items:
~Beef Jerky
~Single Serve drink mixes
~Hot Chocolate Packets
~Fruit Snacks
~Slim Jim’s
~Girl Scout Cookies
~Candy
~Tuna Meal Kits
~Gum and Mints
~ Wisp Disposable toothbrushes
~Q-tips
~Deodorant
~Chap Stick
~Light weight Christmas decorations like garland
~Car antlers for HUMVEES
~Santa Hats and Stockings
~Tall Cotton Socks (all sizes)
~Sweat Pants (all sizes)
~Puzzle books
~Travel Games, Board Games
All donations can be dropped off or mailed to MPD’s shop. Our address is 1908 Benhill Ave, Baltimore, Md 21226
For those of you who are able and willing to donate, you will receive a coupon for 5% off your next purchase from Maryland Performance Diesel.

this is cool, where do you all get your address's to send them to?

We get them from area military families. Most of them are low rank service members...most kicking in doors or mechanics. We also send a few to chaplains for those who do not get mail at holidays...they give them out.

I didnt take it that way at all. No worries. Just trying to reach out into the community a little more each year and we figured this is for a good cause. I know there are a bunch of members on this site that have friends and family in the military along with a lot of our customers. Thanks again to everyone who is spreading the word about this!!

Only a few days left to donate to this awesome cause!! Turn out has been lower then we expected. We are still trying to reach our goal of 150 boxes! Thanks Nick. We did pretty good for starting it on such short notice. Hopefully next year we can start it a little earlier and be able to send more bags out. That's again for the help and support through out it.
