08 6 disk/nav in an 02 superduty

I have a 6 disk sterio with factory nav in my truck. Will it hook up in my dads 02 superduty or would it require more money than its worth? His is a 6 disk sterio but its gone bad so i was gonna give him mine and i would upgrade to a kenwood or alpine. Thanks

would be a lot of work if your comfortable with wiring and schematics then i think you can do it as long as you have all the parts, the antennas and the satellite radio box, i remember one is a major pain to pull out... best bet just get a used pioneer ect of ebay for cheap and buy the 20 dollar wiring adapter that just plugs in...
