7.3 surge-miss

i recently installed adrenaline hpop. now regardless of speed, gear,and incline, when the throttle is 1/2way to the floor and from 1700 rpm to 2400 rpm it has a incredible surge. not like from the turbo, and its not "bucking" like its cutting in and out so i dont know what it is. it feels like the compresser surge people have claimed but alot more aggressive... anybody have any ideas???

superchip settings
stock setting is the worst
tow safe setting is bad but better
tow perf setting is still very noticeable
high perf setting is hardly noticable

could it be air in the fuel/oil lines?

How many miles since the install. Yes, it could be air in the lines still. Just keep it in the performance setting and pretend it's not there.

proably close to 1500 miles. any damage possible? bout to make a 400 mile trip this afternoon hope she clears up..

Probably not air. Wouldn't worry too much about damage.

I think I might watch what the ICP is doing at that point.

True. Bet it might be a sticky IPR causing it all.


Sticky IPR's are caused by not changing the HPOP oil. LOL
Kidding on the last part.

I was also thinking about the tuning kinda where it is not inline with the pump but that is a little out there.

Ipr is new along with the pump...

could i unplug icp and c if it still does it? or would that have little effect do you think?
