Aiming to build a low cost reliable 400 horse daily driver.

Starting a build thread to chronicle what I've added and what gains it's given me to try to help future members.

What I started with...

1999.5 F350 SRW 7.3 regular cab flatbed 4x4 180,000 miles van turbo + DP Tunes

Around 280 horse 500lb-ft torque before hand.

Since then I have removed the DP Tuner and gone to 180/100 single shots from Power-Struck diesel. The improvement was night and day. Hitting the skinny pedal makes this truck take off like a bat out of hell now have not had a chance to dyno since doing the injectors but the SOTP dyno says it was a big jump.

Smoke means life after new injectors go in.

Tunes also provided by Justin @ Power-Struck. Very impressed by the level of customer service and the tunes smoke for just a second then the turbo lights and they clean right up. Very happy other than the fact that my heavy foot with the new power and my tired trans made for a blown trans.

Stay tuned for a post-injector dyno sheet.

Future plans include a Gen 2 WW, head studs, bellowed up pipes, head studs, valve springs, home brewed fuel system, and regulated return.

Liking the injectors + tunes so far (both from Power-Struck) but I'm still waiting to get a new trans in the truck things have gotten insane here since we got 3 feet of snow overnight.

Well since my last post I got a new trans in and found a crack in my MAP line. Fixed an oil leak too.

Running quite well at this point. Need to get on a dyno.

After that I've got up pipes sitting in a box waiting to go in and while they're going in I'll be doing a gen 2 WW.
