Guy got the water injection working properly on the truck. Got the Air/water intercooler flowing like it should. It also seems that once we got the exhaust headers machined flat after they warped the first time they seem to be holding flat and have not leaked in the last 4 or 5 pulls.
In this pull Guy's 16 year old son is driving it. Upped the water injection rate some, on this run it drank almost 2 quarts of water. Looks like the setup is getting closer.
I think this is the trucks best pull to date. This was the trucks fastest ever sled speed, almost 2 mph faster then its previous best. This whole year Guy has been trying to get the truck running right in the next taller gear. He had been running 2nd high range or 4th low range all last year. This year he is working on getting it to run 5th low. In this pull the truck hit just over 4500 rpms at peak going down the track.
