Leave it stock? Or Leveling kit?

This is a spin off of a thread I had on the other site, but I'm bringing it back up because I've been hearing the voices in my head again lately lol

I have to say, I am loving the truck back down at a usable height. I'm trying to decide if I should just leave it stock with a nice set of 33's (which is what is has now) or leveling kit w/33's or maybe 35's.

Pics if any of the above combo's on 05-07 trucks (with factory wheels) would be great!!

I'm really wanting an aftermarket coil for a better ride, and nobody makes one for stock height. I definitely will not go any bigger than a leveling kit if I do change up.

Here's how it sits now:

All depends what you use the truck for.. A lift kit would be worthless to me as I use my truck for it's intended purpose.. There are lots of trucks with kits that look nice.. I think any superduty looks good lifted, it's just not for me for what I do with my truck..

I'm not a stranger to lifting it. Mine has been through a few stages lol . Just wanting to smooth it out a little, and theres only so much you can do with stock coils in place.

Here is the day I brought it home:

before.png

2.5" leveling kit and F350 rear block that came on the truck and factory 275/70/18's:

ICON 4.5" with ICON 5" rear leafs and 35x13.50x18 Mickey Thompson ATZ's on 18x9 KMC Monsters

Same as above except I added 1" TEI spacer to the front and 1" block to the rear:

ICON 7" and also added the 4-link, went up to 20x10 KMC Monsters with 37x13.50 Kumho KL71's

And finally the last stop as far as lifting went, I added the 1" TEI spacer to the front (8" total) and did the PMF 08 Leaf spring conversion with 10" PMF traction block in the rear:

Then when all that came off I went to 1" TEI spacer on the factory coil on the front and a 3.5" PMF rear block factory Harley wheels and 275/65/20's Terra Grapplers:

I agree Mark.
Exactly what I was going for when I brought it all the way back down lol

Well then I guess your question is answered, if this is the look you were going for then you got it.

If it were me I would level it out, but that is purely because I do not like the look of 2wd trucks.

I love the stance it's at now personally, and looks like a 4x4 to me

I'm going to stick with a factory wheel this time, especially since I got such a good deal on my Harley Wheels. The Monsters look good on there...but I like the clean look of a factory wheel.

I think a wider tire would set it off with a leveling kit.

I just happen to have a brand new set of 34x14.50R20's and I can get you a spacer cheap too.

Just saying....
:D

lol I'm sure that would look mean, but a little too wide for my factory wheel lol

I think it'll work!

In all seriousness, I've seen lots of wider tires on skinnier wheels. I had 38x15.50's on my 16x10's.
