3.31 or 3.55/

all the trucks here had the locking axle, some had 3.31 and others had 3.55s, from what i understand and read everyone seams to favor the 3.55s if you tow heavy, which i think you do.
My truck has 3.55s and 35s... tow's great 80mph is like 1800-1900 rpm if i recall correctly

I would go 3.55's with that weight. The E-locker is ok, I need to get SPE's kit that keeps it locked past 20mph.

3.31s and 14k tows like a dream as well.
What kind of mpg are you getting towing that kind of weight? How tall is the front of what you are towing?

15.5 towing 2ft tall by 8ft w by 16 long concrete slabs

3:55's here, have to pump the brakes every time I tow anything. (she run's away with everything I have towed so far, accelerates uphill like nothing)
