Picked up another truck, gonna use it as a daily driver and tow pig for the race truck.
Truck is an ex parts truck from the local Ford dealer. They owned it since new so technically I am the "first" owner.

Truck is a 2000 extened cab short box
2 wheel drive
XLT has more options the my other truck LOL
with 442,xxx on the odometer ! Still runs like a champ. Scored it for a rediculously low price, all it needed was batteries, a front end (rear ender) and a windshield

Her she is when I brought her home

Removed the canopy right away

I kept my front end off my 02 from when I did the 05 front end so on she went to fix the smashed up bumper and grill. 05 lights and HIDs will follow

First thing was a chip as I have spares kicking around. (ya I have a smoke and lope :p) And new badges LOL

Had some spare exhaust parts laying around so she got a 4" turboback immediately

I was pleased with how much quieter it is incab compared to the RC. Glad I didnt do another stack.

I then decided that I would need gauges, so I bought autometers newest line the Elite series which is awesome, has a warning lo/hi and peak recall so I got a 0-2000* pyrometer and replaced one of the banks in the RC and took the 0-1600* gauge and put it in this, also installed a glowplug light and PTM the 3 pod. Boost and trans are next.

This is the new elite pyro. Yes its over 1800* Oops Racetruck problems

This was by far the filthiest motor I have ever seen, So I cleaned her up a bit.
Did a CCV vent, Painted the IC pipes and fabbed up an intake and put in fresh battries

Next was a score, buddy swapped the tires on his truck and gave me the ones he had to burn off on the race truck,I figured hell if I can find a nice rim Ill keep em.
So I found a set of rims and slapped em on. Tow pigs rolling on 20s now.

Before new rims

Picked up a set of factory 08 20s. Tires are a 275/65R20 Pirelli Scorpion

Plans for the weekend, is to yank the box and start fabbing up hangers to lower the rear of the truck 4" to match the front. Also have to replace 1 broken leaf.

Also am thinking of fabbing up a set of airag mounts. And will be throwing on the hidden hitch.
Something like this

While its off Im gonna build my own fuel system like the RC, Dual SD pumps and a 10mic/2mic into a reg return.
These are the parts Ive ordered for the fuel system. I love JIC fittings for ease of instalation and removal so I ordered all these from Summit. Anyone thats using stock SD pumps pay attention the the compression to JIC fitting I found. Just filed off the lip and it slides right on, had them on the Race truck for 20000km now at 67psi with no problems.

Also will be swappoing HPOPs between the trucks. My RC has a healthy modded 17* and well 442000 on the stock HPOP it isnt fairing as well. Seeing as the RC has gen3 it has more then enough HPOIL
I will match the tint on the front windows, then wouldnt mind throwing in a few parts I have laying around to firm up the shifts.
In the future a set of Nates stage 1s and the upgraded wicked wheel.

Thats the compression fitting.
I can dig up the PNs for all the -6JIC to 1/8" NPT if you like.

Lets !

would it be to much to ask for a how to thread on the setup you did? i know strictly and a couple others sell the quick connect to AN fitting for the stock output on the superduty pump.. be nice for another option and a step by step how to for others to use....

You'll thank me later.

Well, just doing the final test fit on lowering it. Gonna pull the box and weld up the hangers and paint them tomorrow.
The box was a nightmare to remove, all 8 of the box bolts I welded a nut on the head to remove. As it sits the front and back measurment is within a 1/2" of each other.

Would those fittings work on an obs?

If you were to convert to electric fuel yes

The wheels look good. How do you like the fit of them?

Garrett

probably getting paid at work to post this from my bionic

Thanks. I really like them. Sharp for a stock rim.

The fit nice on a 2wd. I will snap a pic from behind or front so you can see. They are tucked in a bit compared to the stickers.
And I can't go full lock to lock. On a 4wd you would need at least a 1" spacer.

I like that!

Little bro did a nice job on those welds too!

Thanks buddy. He did those with are little Lincoln buzz box lol. Kid can weld.
