check your U bolts folks!

put a lift on a friends 2011, trucks rear suspension has never been modified prior to this discovery. anyway, i was removing the u bolts to put blocks in and one of the u bolts was loose ( still required impact to remove nut). it was worn pretty bad where it had been contacting the mounting plate. this truck pulls a gooseneck every so often, usually with a small track hoe and a full size back hoe loaded on it. the truck has 35k miles as well. ill post pics of the bolt soon.

wouldnt hurt to double check your trucks, iam pretty sure losing a bolt while loaded down would be a disaster!
