Power steering filters

Does anyone use them? If so, where do they mount and what brand/size did you use?
Also, does it work, and where did you get it from?

I have not used one but I believe Tymar use to sell just a little in line filter for both power steering and tranny.

I also think magnafine makes a power steering filter. If I ever change my set up to add a better cooler to the powersteering I was thinking of adding one.

I know I have installed a few remain powersteering pumps that wanted a filter installed with them. I just flushed the system using the pump instead. I use an air ratchet to run the pump when doing it.

Thanks for the info! I blew a hose the other day and the reservoir was full of crud and it got me to thinking
Also, what size is the return line?

Not sure on the return line but I would flush the system. I put a cap on the reservoir nipple and extend the return line to a container and then run the pump with an air ratchet and an allen adapter.
