Factory

Ouch time for new rods

New rods, lifters, valve springs, and valve guides.

cant you just bend it back with a torch and a bench vise?

Just hit it then roll it on the table and hit it some more till it lays flat again. LOL LOL

We just used some bar stock and welded ball bearings to the end.

What did you to to it??

Just driving it down the road rolled up to a stop sign. Pulled away from the stop sign and it let go.

Was that head salvaged or scrap?

Tom,

It could be salvaged but didn't we had a set of heads laying around we had rebuilt.

When we pulled the driver head off it had a valve spring that was loose enough to spin by hand so it was about to go also.

Truck has WAY more pep now than it did before the seat let loose.
