Rear lift block Wedge

My question is, There is that Wedge that is on top of my rear blocks, now this past weekend a friend of mine was saying that he was almost positive that my wedges should be flipped.

So I'm coming to you guys to see if I can get some real info on weather or not I should flip them.

(Note that the left side of the picture is going towards the front the right side is the back. Also that is just rust residue you find on all leaf springs it pretty much wipes off, I dare you to crawl under my truck and find rust spots :flipa:

Think about it. You want ur pinion to be in line with the driveshaft. If u flipped them ur pinion would be pointing downwards.
