Starting a new build log here:

Starting with the a-pillar build....
Mocking stuff up.

Epoxied together and glassed into place.

Some smoothing and sanding.

Wrapped in super stretchy black lycra.

Some installed pics.


Covers installed.


And from the back seat.


Stay tuned....gonna run wiring and install the rest of the mids and amps this weekend.

Must sound AMAZING too. Any chance you will be at SDX this year? I'm still up in the air of attending but a chance to see and listen to your truck would make the trip worth while.

I back burnered the mirrors for now so I could concentrate on the interior makeover.
Yes...I plan on being at SDX.
Truck won't be painted but I'll still drive it up.

To kill reflections from the pillar mounted drivers. Same reason I'm taking my leather out and replacing it with cloth.
This will be a full-on sound quality install. A single 10" sub with 10 other drivers around the truck.

Definitely no cracks in the dash. LOL
I have about 20 hours in the pillars alone. Probably another 20 in sound deadening and prep work.
Another days worth to get the other drivers in and door panels finished then I have to build a sub enclosure. I'll build one at about 1.75 cuft sealed then add baffles to shrink it inside to audition first before I build the final version.
I'd say I'll have 60-70 hours in it when it's done.

That is a lot of time you have into it so far!! But it looks good and when you are done it should sound REALY good..

It's a necessity. Way too many reflections with pillar mounted mids....you either kill them or it sounds like ass.

You have skills thats for sure.
