Anyone running HID's? Looking into getting headlights and fog lights. Not sure on what to get tho? I saw some xenon for $50 comes with everything for the conversion kit but then found some other xenon from a different website for $104. Also caught between 6 or 8K. 8K is more of a blueish but not by much. Any input would be good to point me in the right direction. Thanks

Retro solutions here. Go with 6k. 5-6k will give you the best light output. I had 8k before which still have good output but I like the 6k better. Personally I went with 55w heads and fogs.

i have the 5000k, digital 55W from Retro, been in the truck just shy of a year, no issues, super bright. And they work awesome in the Wisconsin cold.

So the lower the number the brighter it gets?

4300-5000 is the brightest. Any less is not as bright but has a yellow tint, any higher loses brightness also and has a blue tint. The lower you go the more yellow, the higher the more blue. 5000 is almost perfectly white

Clausen just got a set of projectors done. I'd love to but I can't bring myself to spend a ton on headlights

I had Retro for 2 years. Problems at 1 year & problems at 2 years. Took them off & put factory back in. The lifetime warranty is worthless! All they do is run you around in circles, & I am a retired electrician!
