Came across an 04 XL 6.0 Powerstroke on the list. Typical blown gaskets and other minor problems. All stock 182,000 original miles before it blew. Lady tried fixing it but couldn't afford it and needed money. Listed it for $3200. After a nice conversation I haggled her down to $2700. Called up my buddy and we made the 3 hour drive with the cash in my pocket.:evil

Airaid intake(stock intake was more expensive than aftermarket, and I plan on going well beyond 500hp.)
5 inch lift.
35 inch Cooper Discoverer STTS on the stock wheels(steel wool did an amazing job)

First thing I pulled with her and she pulled it great. Also added an exhaust and tip. I don't know if you can tell what my color theme is going to be yet.

Gauges.
New Interior.

I spent hours and hours deciding what gauges to get. I was torn between ISSPRO and Autometer. At the time I was on a tight budget and the Autometers lower price was great. They also had factory match which is exactly what I wanted. Now I will admit that ISSPRO makes some great looking gauges, however with the factory match style there is hardly a difference between them and Autometer. I went ahead and bought the A pillar and the standard three gauge setup (boost, pyro, and tranny). I ordered the A pillar in black because I also decided to paint the OS handles, Arm rests, etc. black. I also just got some black leather which looks AMAZING and it turned out really well.

After a couple of months my radiator busted. I also went through 5 alternators and needed a new ficm(go figure). I replaced with a stock ficm and also replaced the radiator with a new oem one. (These will be changed later on). After installing the new radiator I realized my engine compartment needed some cleaning. I also figured I might as well slap on a coolant filter.

Once I cleaned up the engine bay I realized the rest of my truck is dirty. I decided to give it a little paint job.
