Decided to go ahead and add the Fuel Pressure setup to my CTS I put in. I know you could probably do it cheaper by picking up different senders, and wiring them yourself to the EAS Harness, but I decided to just pick up the edge sender, that comes with the harness with plugs on the end that hook right up to the EAS harness. I picked up the following parts to do it.

EDGE Part #98607 (pressure sensor 0-100psi)

Plug with purple on it hooks to sensor

Here is a picture of the sensor plugged into the harness:

The next part is the EDGE EAS Universal Sensor input. This part piggybacks on your EAS connection that should already have if you have a EGT or other EAS accessory hooked up. Each Universal Sensor Input will support two sensors. The females on the harness are where you're EDGE sensor lead will plug right in. It also comes with two pigtails with male plugs that you can use if you are using a sensor made by someone other than EDGE.

I also already had the fuel pressure adapter from ITP (now Strictly Diesel). You can get it here:

6.0L Fuel Pressure Adapter

You can get an adapter and put the sensor right in the test port on side of the fuel filter housing. The thread of the test port is 12x1.5 o-ring. But the remote adapter mounts the sensor away from the engine. To quote their website:

The provided adapter fitting installs in place of the plug in the fuel filter bowl and the hose allows the sending unit to be located off the engine (away from heat and vibration). The sending unit can also be located lower than the filter bowl (allowing any air bubbles to migrate back up to the filter so they don't affect the pressure reading).

Here is the picture of the adapter line:

This end of it screws into the fuel filter housing:

Then the other end has the 1/8" Female NPT for your sensor (also has schrader valve):

I'll be installing this week and will update with pictures as I do.

Got the adapter/hose and sensor put in today. Still need to grab the EAS harness so I can put it in. I did run into a small problem when installing the adapter, but easily fixed. I went out to hook up my line for my fuel pressure gauge. Figured it would be simple, pull the plug from the test port on the fuel bowl and then install my adapter and line in place. Well I pulled the plug out, but when I went to put my adapter in, the nut on the adapter is too big and hits on the regulator housing. I just fired up the grinder and "massaged" the points on the "nut". Went right in.

Here is a picture of the line I'm using:

And here is a picture showing where its hitting on the housing:

Here is the hose and fitting installed in the test port on the fuel bowl:

Here is the other end with the sensor in it. I dont have the EAS cable yet that plugs into the sensor

Several places have the adapter. This is the one I have. It relocates it away from the engine. Also has a test port on it:

Or you can get just the adapter and put the sending unit straight into it

Theres lots more out there. Just Google "6.0L Fuel Pressure Adapter"

Finally got around to ordering the harness that goes from the fuel pressure sensor harness to the EAS plug.

Here's what came in the box:

Here is a picture showing where the EAS plug piggybacks onto the EAS plug from the Expandable EGT cable.

Then it was just a matter of plugging the harness from the sensor into Plug "A" on the new harness. The wire coming from the pressure sensor was WAY long. I was going to shorten it, but when I called EDGE they told me it cant be cut, and that it has to stay that length. So all I did was roll it up and then tape around it to keep all of the wires under control.

Once that was done, I took the laptop out to the truck and pulled up the MyStyle program on it. Then I hooked my USB cable to the laptop, the other end to the CTS, and went in and named the sensor and picked my settings. After that I was up and running. Here is what it reads at idle:

That's pretty cool. Dare I ask the cost for the setup? I must say, that is so much simpler than hooking up typical gauges. I really like that.

Exactly how long are the wires for the fuel pressure sensor? They are long for you, but I have a feeling they may be too short for me. I'm reading fuel pressure off of my vegistroke manifold, and that's a good 3' behind the heads on the truck.
