Time to buy a set of Nerf Bars for my '97 F-350 Crew Cab. (I think....my finanical officer may have a different idea...)

Any suggestions on brands, stainless, chrome?

I just made a post these week on a source for stainless ones. Which reminds me I still need to take the photos to go with that.

It is because of the diesel frame if I remember right. Going off memory it has to do with the bracket they used on the back. I think it could be worked around with a little fab work.

I am unaware of ANY nerf bars AVAILABLE for a CC that actually bolt to the frame. N-FAB and smittyJUNK both bolt to the rockers which is a BAD idea on the OBSs.
You can look into DeeZee tough steps model #23 that is what I have

I had those Smittybuild ones on mine and they were decent strong. I just switched to these to get stainless.
