Anyone put LED's in a CB?

Anyone put LED's in a CB? Wondering if anyone has done it? I was to chage the lights in my CB to LED blue to match the rest of my truck electronics?!

anyone? No?

Nope sold all my stuff when I sold my trucks. I switched mine to red cause the blue was to bright. Mine were done on a cobra and a galaxy. The magnums come with them already. If you have any skill with electronics I think it would be simple to do since they are a part that goes out and should be readily accessible.

Hit up local yard sales or Craigslist and pick up a cheap one that lights up and try it.

Or buy one that already does. The stryker I had lit up all blue with blue leds around the faceplate too.

I already have a CB in my rig, i was just wondering if it is possible to swap out with LED's rather than the red and green back lighting!?

any competent cb shop or electronics repair shop can do it.quite a few guys around here have had it done.cost isnt worth it to me.

Just FYI...

I had my entire gauge set up blue for years... Until I started getting headaches at night when driving...

Went to the dr and he suggested the blue light might be causing it.

Swapped them out for green, no more issues.
