They look different to me. Seems like Elite has 2 ports on the side where MPD doesn't. How many ways could you mill one anyways? The only way I could see Elite getting upset over is if MPD physically bought an Elite base and copied most of the dimensions. So I don't see what the fuss is about.

Our pedestal plate was deigned here 1000+ miles away from them and theirs was designed 1000+ miles away from us
