Like or not??? Not sure myself...

Trying to cover up where my boots are draging the paint off... A company used to make something like this, but I have not seen them in years.

This is just a left over column cover from the remodel I am completing now.

I'm not sure, so its just taped in there right now.

Looks pretty good. My boss used some clear bra on his 11, I'll probably end up doin something like that.

Not bad. Might round those bottom corners off to prevent snagging but I like it.

Hard to see but they are rounded off.

Now should I screw them in, Rivet them in, or Double sided tape?

i think rivets would look good but if you can't get to the backside to put a backin washer then i would prolly just use the double sided tape them

Like the idea, just not to crazy about the diamond plate. Is there any othe material you could use?

I like the auto ventshade plastic step shields.. They work great and match the interior..

Looks good, I'd use tape.

I'm sure you could use any material, however the material I am using is free so...LOL

Thats what I have on mine and I love em. Previous owner had put them on and I coulda swore they might have been factory, now I know better. Gonna get a set for dad's truck too, too bad the paint is already worn off on the regular cab though.

Well I guess I will make the passanger side tomorrow. Double sided tape is the plan for now.

Are you sure that is from boots? I have a similar spot on mine, but I figured it was from the door. Boots make sense from the positioning, I just never thought of it.

Yup, Its from my boots. I drag my leg into the truck pretty bad.

thats the way i do too. that or ill use it sometimes to get some of the mud off the bottom of my boots and scrape them there

I highly recommend you use double sided tape. I wouldn't secure it any other way.

Well I made the other one yesterday and installed them today. Double sided tape.

I'll snap a picture or two tonight.
