Compass went into cal????

I live in a state of lost anyways, so when I looked up and saw the compass not reading cal and no directions, I was a little frustrated. When I landed, I calibrated the zone and drove in circle to calibrate. Would not calibrate. Shut truck off and fired it back up, then it calibrated. Got home unloaded and it froze on SW. Shut truck off and unloaded then went to get fuel. No Problems.

What caused it to go into cal mode and stick?

Id like to know as well! Mine does it all the time.

If starts doing it all the time I would not be happy.

Any ideas this is beginning pi$$ me the ***k off.

Ive heard the earth is changing polarity maybe you are in one of those zones. I didn't know men relied on those things anyway.

This fixed it! Resoldered connections and no cal when plugged back in. So far so good.

We live in KS...why on earth do you need the compass..just look at where the sun is LOL
