So i have replace I dont know how many door handle and welded the latch deal back to the door seeign if there is something i dont know a tip to stop breaking door handle

I had this problem before to stop breaking the handles put the 80-86 metal ones on. They bolt right in. Are you having issues opening your door at all?

Put the metal ones in Lucas, just like I have in my truck.

I had to fix one at work and i cut all the thin metal out and welded in a new 1/8" plate, bolted the handle back up, and sprayed the crap out of it with silicone. Worked well
