Hi Guys...

I am looking for a decent not too expensive 3 gauge pillar set up for my 2000 7.3L (first diesel). I am not chipped just a Superchips tuner and no exhaust yet... I would like to keep an eye on things as I tow just a 20' camp trailer and four wheeler in the bed. What gauge brand would you recommend and what gauges, I was thinking a boost gauge and a trans temp and ?

Are Glowshift gauges any good?

well you forgot to mention prolly the most emportant one the exhaust gas temp gauge. i have diprocol optix but i wish i had isspro performax but the isspro ev2 are prolly the best for the money. i wouldn't run glowshifts in my 1000 dollar 95 ford escort

I love the Isspros. Run their boost and full electic EGT gauge. They are great. I have heard mixed feeling on glowshifts but IMO they look real good. Since you tow and will prolly be upgrading more stuff on your truck deffinatley get boost and EGT. If you have an auto tranny get a trans temp gauge also. Those 3 and youll be set, for your mods now and later mods down the road.

If you wanna know more on the Isspros contact them on here, Im pretty sure they are here. Or contact CSIPSD. He has 18 some odd custom Isspro gauges and prolly knows alot about them.

Get the best ones you can afford. Glowshifts are good gauges for the money. I have heard some mixed reviews on them, but the one thing everybody says, if you have an issue with them, they will stand behind their product.

My boss got a set of them. The tranny gauge did not work. They sent him a complete new one (next day BTW), told him to just repace what he needed to and ship the bad parts and what he didn't use back. It also came with a return shipping label, so no more money out of his pocket. Can't really complain to much about that kind of customer service.

I've had nothing but consistent problems with my isspro EV2's. can't stand em BUT isspro has been excellent to work with and has stood behind their products.

i have glowshift Elite 10 series gauges and i am happy with them. they seem to be quick to respond and fairly accurate. and they are about the easiest things in the world to install.

I started another thread about scan gauges. It might be a better $$ value to get one scan gauge and monitor several parameters and also have the option to clear codes, run diagnostic tests, and record data.

Isspro performax's here. Been very happy with them. And only 3 wires to run into the cab is awsome. Isspro backs their stuff up too. I had the voltage regulator in the control module go on mine and michael at isspro gave me he's personal cell number and helped me troubleshoot on his own time then sent me a replacement controller no questions asked when we determined it was bad.
