I have a clunk in the front axle while turning. At work the other day I got under it and had a co-worker turn the the wheel back and forth so I could watch and see what was making the noise. I found that the spring hangers were actually moving around inside the frame mount. My question is, to whom have actually replaced bushings for the spring hangers and leaf springs, where did you purchase them from?.. Ive called all the local auto part stores and no luck. The truck is a 97 F-350 cclb 4x4 ( straight axle )

thanks,
kyle

I think the poly bushings make the ride quite a bit more harsh. I would go with stock if I did mine again.

I would not do poly all around but for that one upper bushing rubber just does not seem tough enough. I think it is because it is so narrow.

thanks for the replies. I found a kit to do both front shackles so I think ill try it and see what happens. All I could find was poly kits though. So when you install the poly bushings on springs/shackles, it makes the ride a little rough?.
