Prerunner Style Bumper

a buddy of mine wanted me to build him a bumper for his f150, gave me an idea of what he wanted, and this is what i got so far.

this is what i got so far. going to be a big skid plate in the center and then a winch mount behind it.

Thanks you, i thought the skulls looked good there as well. Here are a couple more pictures of it, its finished now, ill try and get a picture of it when he paints it and puts it on his truck. The skid plate was a pain to do, bending that around the frame was pretty difficult to do by myself, but i just used a torch and made a couple of 1/16" score marks on the back side and then it bent a little better.

I will get one soonish...he has had some legal trouble, so he has spent the last couple months in and out of court haha. It's being painted now, then he is gunna bring me the truck to mount it next week.

Looks awesome. What welding rig you use. Also what material thickness. Love the skulls

Thanks. I used a millermatic 211. Tubing is 2" .120 wall for the main frame, 1.5" .120 wall for the skid plate and 10ga sheet metal. He wanted it strong, so I went heavy haha.

Not trying to bring negative just giving my personal experience. I bent my 2" .120 wall front bumper rather easily. I definitely wasn't trying to and wasn't hitting anything either. That was just my experience though.
