I have a 2002 F350 drw with the typical clearcoat peeling. I am in the process of buying new tires and thought while the wheels are broken down from the tires, now would be a great time to address the clearcoat peel. I was thinking of having the wheels powdercoated but it seems like the common powdercoat color is black and I already have 2 vehicles with black wheels. I was wondering if anyone had any pics of powdercoated wheels that weren't black ? Any tips or suggestions from experience on colors ? My truck is black and silver two-tone.

Each powdercoater I've talked to about the chrome says that it comes out nice and shiny until they put the clear on it. Something in the clear makes it look "milky" is the best way I can think to describe it. Looks like a dirty brushed aluminum if that makes any more sense. I've spoken to 3 different coaters and they have all told me the same with the chrome powdercoating.
