Need Some Help...

I've got an 02 with a 6 speed. For some reason now, if i come out of a shift hard and fast (like racing) my truck falls on its face and loses all power, then after a second or two it JUMPS to life and is fine. When this happens the check engine light comes on but only for a couple seconds also, not a long time like it would if it was an overboost code.

Any clue fellas???

I would check your chip and computer. Mine sometimes will jar loose on a big bump and momemtarily shutoff the truck. Just an idea...

x2 this fixed a problem i had where my truck would be come gutless when romping on it

Pull the code and see what it says.

checked the the plug on the chip and it was a little loose, seemed to fix it.
