like the title says, I am moving to Mississippi in the near future for a new job opportunity and would like to know a few things about the area.
i'll be working in Laurel, MS and i'm going this week sometime to look for a place to live in the area. I would like to be around 30 minutes or so from the Laurel area if at all possible.
is there anyone here from that area that could give me some insight on areas to avoid? such as high crime rates, bad neighborhoods, etc.?
i'd also like to know if there are ever any weekly truck meets or gatherings in that area?
