thanks eric for that monster tune. 60+ lbs of boost and a 3-5 shift equals no more intermediate. it could be the input but i doubt it. all i can say is that ID BIG tune has a hell of a lot more fuel from the first WOT pull. trans only made one shift before it let go ..lol

I don't understand why billet shafts are still breaking? I still have a stock intermediate in my transmission and it has held up fine. Obviously I am no where near your power level Mike, but I have abused my SunCoast a lot during the 40,000 miles it's been in my truck.

I thought it was a tuning problem binding the shifts? I could be wayyyy off, but I thought that's what I remember reading when people first started breaking them..?

i didnt break a billett shaft, it was stock. i broke a billet shaft a couple years ago. this snap was the first 3-5 shift with this massive tune, who knows why it happened. a billett shaft will go back in, but i can tell you this, that trans had over 100 1/4 and 1/8th mi passes on it with never a hiccup. loaded this big tune and bang. all i know is my truck never smoked like it did before it broke.

Ahhhh ok. I assumed it was a billet. I think my transmission has somewhere around 75 1/4 mile passes on it. Hopefully it continues to hold well since I don't plan on racing anytime soon.
