destroked adpater question

Im Swapping a 12 valve in my 05 and have ordered everything from auto world. What TC is everyone using with the destroked plate? On their site they mention a "flat faced" convertor. I called them and didn't get a straight answer so thought I'd ask here. Is this a billet tc--or will any tc work? I am getting a lower stall-1600 and was leaning towards PATC

Precision is what Levi uses on all the conversions

Just wondering why though. He told me precision, ats, and Suncoast, were all he would ensure would fit/work. But aren't they all the same size /depth? Or do the fly wheels need a billet face for added strength?

What does destroked man by flat faced converter? I assume they mean Billet??? Except for to high of a stall, why wouldn't a stocker work?
