IIDM relay clicking, help!

Go to start my truck today and find I have dead batteries. Well great, go to put a charge on it and sit and wait, go back to try it and still nothing. Long story short now the truck only clicks when starting and the idm relay clicks as well. I have a cec on the dash and the wait to start light is erratic as well. Help please!

Anyone? No help?

You need new batteries or you have poor connections. I would load test the batteries if it was mind.

What they both said. Bad connection or bad battery's..

Had to wait on the proper tools but y'all were right. I knew they were on their last leg but dang. Had a good scare there for a while.

Make sure when you install to clean everything first and make sure it is all tight because mine were tight but had a layer or crap on them causing it to do pretty much what yours did.

Before you put the clamps back on spray them and the battery posts with WD40. It help keep a good connection AND help keep corroding down to..

I also use WD40 for that purpose as it does not leave a mess.
