Installing new door help

So as many of you know I am in the process of fixing the side of my truck and I do have a red door on it. Problem is it doesnt sit just right. The side towards the back of the truck sits too far in and the side towards the fron sits out a bit. (This is all when the door is closed). The door leaks along the edge about half way up the wing window. A buddy at school says you gotta adjust it just right. I have all four bolts connecting it tightened down pretty good, so am I missing something?

Move the striker pin in the jamb out to get the back of the door out

pull the striker out a little like he said, if that still isnt enough loosen the hinge bolts and slide the door in twards the truck
