Leaking coolant

I have noticed a small leak coming from what looks like the lower water neck that then connects to the lower radiator hose. It looks to be dripping from the lower bolt that bolts to the water pump. It only does it after sitting not right after I drive. I had the water pump replaced last year or year before and no problems with temp. Just annoying drips on the garage floor.. Do you think I could just try and tighten the bolt alittle? I have looked from up above and nothing looks to be leaking anywhere else just the lower bolt. Oh and it's only 99' F350 7.3

Thanks

I wouldn't put to much TQ on it if you're gonna try and tighten it.

there's an O ring in there that flattens out and then leaks.

take it apart and put a bead of RTV there, let it skin up, then put it back on.

(no one ever has the o-rings and they never seal anyway)

It might also be worthwhile to put on a new water inlet tube.

It's only a year old too... It is only dripping after sitting for at least an hr.. I drove it a little today and got back, nothing but after about an hr I started to see it on the ground..lol. I don't drive it very much but I will just pull off the inlet tube and redo it and hope that is it... Thanks again guys for your input..

What he said.

You can always try to snug it up first! Don't worry, if the bolt breaks off it won't be hard to fix with water pump on the workbench. :p Lol. Just use common sense and you should be fine.
