Well i finally got time to make it out to the track and run the truck.. first two runs werent too great.. first run launched at 10psi didnt realize how fast i staged and didnt have time to boost... second 4wd didnt engage... last run launched harder and pulled a 14.3

I think i can get a litte more out of it.. a friend of mine was cutting a 1.7 60' so if i can get that it will help out a little more and that was IDPs Extreme Race.. if u watch the vid u can here it spin a little so im gonna try not launching quite as hard

any tips or input would be greatly appreciated seeing as im new to the drag racing game

Probably drop the air pressure in your tires a tad. I dont think you can cut a 1.7 with your setup now...Im not saying you can't..Just that I don't see it happening easily.

he is same height as me running 35s also same exact setup just stock charger but who knows i guess only time will tell

btw...i read your other thread about your dyno. I used a calculator and it spit out 409 hp at the wheels (assuming 8000 lbs) which is probably a whole lot closer to what you're putting down. as they say...the track never lies. now put some injectors in and let it rip

Get some bigger injectors and you'll be on fire:naughty:

I was running 14.6 @89 /w a 1.7 60' with a stock turbo/injectors in a CCLB on 37s weighing in at 8300. My current best time is 13.4 @98 /w a 1.7 60'. Thats with an ssx and 190/100s spraying windshield washer fluid.

what was your buddies 1/4mi time? the only reason i can think of that he beat you in the 60' was 1) your tire spin, like was previously stated drop your air pressure and 2) the stock turbos spin up slightly faster than a powermax will

All in all good numbers, Im headin out for my first time next month. Im hoping for numbers like yours but well see...running pretty much the same set up but 37s and a stock turbo

He ran 13.94 on 35s also just had an 03 turbo instead of the powermax... Also a built trans
